Jordan Steele grew up in northeast Ohio before attending Cornell University in Ithaca, New York. After graduating from Cornell, Jordan served for five years in the U.S. Army, spending most of that time overseas in Europe. It was there that his love for photography grew into a passion.
Jordan now lives in Columbus, Ohio and works as an electrical engineer during the day, and uses photography as his main means of creative output.
Jordan also runs the successful photography site Admiring Light, where he writes articles on technique, writes equipment reviews and shares his newest photos.
After using Canon DSLRs for nearly a decade, Jordan has made the recent switch to using all mirrorless cameras. Jordan Shoots with cameras and lenses from the Fuji X Mount, Sony E Mount and the Micro 4/3 systems. If you are interested in what gear was used to make a particular photograph, EXIF data is intact for most of the images in the gallery.
